A long-standing, much valued client approached us as they had planned to hold a party for employee’s children in the staff canteen. Due to the nature of the industry, the soiling that was carried into the canteen during work hours by staff meant that the canteen was not to the correct hygiene standard for hosting the party.

For the party to go ahead and bring the canteen to the required standard, the client required a complete deep clean of all surfaces including worktops, chairs, tables, flooring, fixtures, fittings and equipment.

Having had much experience in this area, we were able to present the client with our recommendation to fulfil their need. The solution required a small team to complete the tasks outside of office hours to avoid impeding on staff mealtimes, and as close as possible to the time of the event to avoid recontamination of the surfaces.

Working through the night, our team used specialist equipment, cleaning products that are food safe and non-hazardous cleaning products for the floor. This meant that the next day the children would not be exposed to any harsh chemical residue and had a safe and clean environment for their party.

Our client was extremely satisfied with the work and as a result the children’s party was able to go ahead as planned. We were pleased to be able to play a role in the party being a great success and to have contributed to making the environment safe for the employees and their children.
